Remember, Don’t try to pick a topic with high competition.It takes hell lots of time & advertisement.Choose the keywords with the low or medium competition.

Picking up your domain name is quite tricky.Since your blog is going to be a micro-niche blog therefore it’s important to target the main keywords in your blog.
In my case, I have a topic on dog food reviews therefore, my domain name will target the keywords related to it.For example dogfoodreviews.com or dogfoodguide.com
